Previous President Donald Trump addressed a MAGA crowd in Schnecksville, Pennsylvania this weekend, wherever the presumptive GOP presidential nominee explained he received all of the 2024 primaries, which is not genuine. There ended up no actuality-checkers in the raucous crowd, even so — or the specifics in any case weren’t likely to get in the way of the superior time. (Former South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley received two primaries — the District of Columbia (D.C.) and Vermont — just before dropping out of the Republican presidential race.)
When Trump said: “Every single one primary we received… in the history, figures that have in no way been gotten ahead of,” the group cheered loudly. Trump specifically talked about winning Iowa and New Hampshire, which he did, but New Hampshire was barely a landside: Trump received 54.3% of the votes Haley won 43.2%.

That was when New Hampshire Republican Governor John Sununu was in Haley’s corner, ripping Trump for owning “contributed” to the January 6 riots and indicating the GOP should go further than him.
Now Sununu has endorsed Trump, and on Sunday Sununu informed ABC News political pundit George Stephanopoulos that none of Trump’s lawful difficulties are ample to discourage Trump voters, him involved.
While Sununu retains some reservations and promises to stand driving his earlier criticism of Trump, the New Hampshire Governor confident Stephanopoulos that he will vote for Trump even if Trump is convicted of a federal crime. “Yeah, me and 51% of People in america,” he extra with a smile.
When pressed for an explanation connecting his previously stinging criticism and his existing pledge to vote for Trump, Sununu stated: “For me, it’s not about him as significantly as it is getting a Republican administration.”

Sununu’s position clarifies a problem Democrats have experienced difficulties navigating: Lots of Trump supporters don’t care if what he states is 100% accurate — whether or not he received all the primaries or if he did so by record margins is irrelevant. Also irrelevant for lots of would be a getting that Trump fully commited a crime(s), considering that his supporters are eager to see Trump’s prosecution as unjust political persecution by the opposition. A conviction, Sununu’s stance contends, would as irrelevant as fudging the info on the primaries.
Sununu claims MAGA followers see Trump’s prison expenses and courtroom trials “as fact Tv” and “a great deal of folks conflate all 4 of these various trials that he’s in.”
[Trump faces criminal charges in a Manhattan courtroom on Monday where his former lawyer Michael Cohen and adult film star Stormy Daniels are scheduled to testify against him. It is one of four current criminal cases against the former President, two that allege he tried to steal the last election and another that alleges he stole valuable classified documents and compromised national security.]
Sununu admits that when not in the courtroom, Trump will go back on the marketing campaign path and “victimize it. That has worked for him.”
As opposed to Sununu, on the other hand, there is some evidence that other Haley supporters haven’t been as fast to soar on the MAGA teach. Even following she suspended her campaign on March 6, Haley continued to win 14-20 per cent of the votes in the GOP primaries which include Arizona, Ga, Florida, Illinois, Kansas, Ohio, Connecticut, Washington, and New York. Note: The Pennsylvania Republican Major will acquire location on April 23.
